VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers help Almost Home mothers, children and staff in many ways. Almost Home provides long-term transitional housing and support services to homeless teenage mothers and their children. With a capacity for 15 mothers and 25 children, Almost Home provides the environment, education and counseling needed to help these young families create a stable and nurturing home life. With your help, Almost Home can “Make a Difference …One Family at a Time!”

Ways to Volunteer:

Be a child care provider while our teen moms are in life skills classes - Monday through Thursday evenings.

Bring a group and we can accomplish a task, such as preparing a mailing, painting and cleaning, yard work/gardening, or other big project.

Special activities around the holidays can add a special touch to young women who have been homeless.  many have no traditions, and you can be part of beginning a special activity that might be passed along to future generations.
